Dreaming of You

Dreaming of You

Happy Tuesday, tea friends! You made it through Monday and now only 3 more sleeps until Friday - or should we say, Fri- yay?!

Speaking of sleeping, ever had such a crush on someone that you can't even sleep without longing for them? We have too. That's why we curated this collection! With two ounces of each of the following teas, your dreams will never be sweeter.

We began with two ounces of our Sleep Better. Our Sleep Better herbal tea is a tranquil blend of valerian root, lemon myrtle, verbena, spearmint, chamomile, and lavender. Valerian root is very commonly used, not only to induce sleep, but also for those suffering with insomnia or anxiety. These effects are heightened in combination with the other components of this tea, including lemon myrtle. My handsome beau loves this tea! He regularly asks me to make it for him before bed and raves about how it always makes him feel "relaxed, and refreshed and rejuvenated in the morning" (He is making a joke about the Good Life Tea slogan!). I often imagine us singing "Baby, It's Cold Outside" as he sips it and the sedative nature sets in, he'll asks me, "Say what's in this drink?".

Just as you have found your perfect match, we knew the perfect match to include with our Sleep Better would be our Gentle Slumber. This is another one of our most popular herbal teas. Our customer's routinely rave about it for it's calming effects. It is a blend of chamomile, rooibos, and peppermint. The chamomile is widely known for it's soporific nature. It has been used since the Roman Empire to bring about bountiful and restful sleep. Rooibos, hailing from South Africa, is caffeine free, and known to be packed with antioxidants that ward off sickness and disease. Lastly, the peppermint portion of this tea was added for it's calmative effects on the digestive tract, as well as for a fresh finish on your palette!

This year, as you think of what to hand your heartthrob on Valentine's Day, remember that giving them the gift of a restful night's sleep (hopefully with dreams of you!) is often underrated! Stay safe & warm, friends! - Kaytea :)
