Shipping policy

We ship out your order ASAP. Either on the same day or the next. We package our teas in zip lock pouches which preserve freshness for months. We then pack our bagged teas in white rigid mailers with our sticker on it. These boxes are hard to crush and will insure that your tea arrives in good condition. The boxes are expensive but your tea deserves the best packaging. We never ship in padded envelopes.

We prefer to use the US Postal Service. Believe or not, most packages arrive in 2 days which is faster than UPS or Fed Ex which can take up to 5 days. An extra bonus is that USPS delivers on Saturdays too. So there is no waiting till Monday. Because it is the USPS, you can use a Post Office Box as well.

The final and big bonus is cost of shipping. The post office's shipping rates start at approximately $3 for a shipment. UPS and Fed Ex's rates start at about $13. On occasion, we may use UPS if the transit time is roughly the same.

Keeping you in the loop. Our website is fully automated to send you 3 emails. The first is a purchase confirmation, the second is shipping confirmation with a tracking number and the last email is a delivery confirmation. These emails keep you in the loop at all times.
