Warm and Rich

I love this tea. It is slightly smokey and earthy. I drink it plain but it is also delicious with a splash of 1/2 + 1/2 and sugar. It's one of my favorite teas.

Russian Country and Lapsang Souchong are deep, rich teas. We're so glad you discovered the uniqueness of this tea!

Great Black Tea

I really like this tea. It's simple, but also robust. There's a smoky flavor that comes out the more you brew it. I drink this one almost every morning!

Smoky/Outdoor Flavor

As soon as you pour your water over these leaves you will feel like you are smelling a freshly started woodstove fire. It's a friendly smell and makes you feel at home. It is a very woodsy tea. The outdoor and wood flavor continues through the taste. If you like this type of flavor this tea is for you. I wasn't able to drink the whole cup black (as I typically drink most of my teas), the woodsy smoky was just a bit much for me (just preference). I added a splash of half and half and a splash of white sugar. It softened the smoky taste and the tea was softer for the remaining mug.

You're right, Kate. Not everyone loves Russian Country right away. We have some customers that think it is the only tea for them. Your idea of adding a bit of half and half and a touch of sugar was excellent. We'll pass that concept on!
