Loose Tea Made Easy

This Pyrex (borosilicate) teapot can brew up 3 - 4 cups of loose leaf tea.  The glass construction allows you keep an eye on your tea while it steeps.  This is especially useful for green teas which if oversteeped and can get bitter.

This large capacity teapot is a perfect centerpiece for your next tea party. The glass will show off the pretty colors for our herbal and fruit teas which brew up in a wonderful variety of colors.

This teapot works nicely with blooming teas. We recommend this teapot because of its large capacity which allows for a wonderful presentation of these spectacular teas. Over 7 minutes, you can watch the blooming of the tea which slowly reveals the bright centerpeice flower. Click here to see our blooming tea.

How to use this teapot

Place the glass infuser in the teapot.   Add your loose tea leaves or tea bags into the glass infuser and add hot water. Follow the tea's instructions for water temperature and steeping times for best results.  After steeping, remove the infuser from the tea pot to keep your tea from going bitter. Replace lid.  When serving tea, Keep your finger on lid to keep it from falling off. Use caution as the lid will be hot.

Teapot is not for stove top use.

Borosilicate glass is hot and cold temperature shatter resistant but is a glass product.  Use the same care as you would for other glass objects, but extra care when it contains hot water. Dish washer safe, but hand wash is recommended.  Do not use scrubbers or gritty cleansers as it may scratch the glass and weaken it.  To remove tea stains use a 7 to ratio of water to household bleach and soak the teapot for an hour.
