Deep and rich, these floral organic Hibiscus leaves will infuse a deep and exquisite flavor.

HIbiscus is also known as flor de Jamaica or roselle.

A striking red color reminiscent of nothing so much as burgundy wine; our matchless organic hibiiscus tea leaves are the beginning of a deep, balanced tisanal experience.

Think you've tried it all? Not sure what sort of tea turns you on, off, or otherwise? Interested in trying loose leaves and experiencing the true cup? Our Organic Hibiscus is a simple, delicious way to note the lasting goodness of loose tea even while savoring a gardenial blend whose tart floral flavors will make a convert out of even the sternest doubter.

A natural source of vitamin C and a proven blood pressure reducer, this tea's healthy boost is just the beginning of its pleasures and benefits. Calming and naturally caffeine free; this farmland crop is simplicity exemplified. Hibiscus contains much more than just astringent deliciousness in its flavor collection.

Organic, tasty, and a beautiful cranberry, pomegranate flavor; this Hibiscus cup is recommended for lovers of hot or cold tea. Try it iced and sweetened for an afternoon nip. Blend it hot in the morning to start the day right. Wind down the evening hours with this blend served hot or cold.

For a Jamaican twist blend it with Ginger and sweetener called Sorrell.

Good Alone or With Some "Friends"

I found that for my taste, a chilled or cold brew is more to my liking. I did try it warm once and found it wasn't my cup of tea (sorry - couldn't resist). I also found that a moderate steep time is best; otherwise it leaves a slightly bitter aftertaste. I will also use it in one of my blends: 3-4 teaspoons of GLT's Egyptian Chamomile, 1-2 teaspoons of Peppermint, and 3-4 individual dried hibiscus buds. I will put it in a 48 ounce glass pitcher and sun brew for about 4 hours or so. The quality of the tea is top shelf and by far, the best I've found. That translates to a great beverage to enjoy later on.

Thank you for being so generous with your evaluation and suggestions for so many of our Good Life Teas. You have some great ideas and we appreciate your sharing them. ~Susan

My First taste of Hibiscus tea

I was pleasantly surprised at the smooth taste with a bit of sweetness to this tea. I initially tried it hot but am anxious to try it iced for the summer. I had read several articles praising hibiscus tea for its health benefits, as an aid to lowering blood pressure and for heart health with a boost of vitamin C. I am all for ways to support good health naturally and drinking hibiscus tea is such a pleasant, relaxing way to do just that!

We're thrilled to hear that you are enjoying your Hibiscus tea, Sheryl :) You're right, hibiscus does have many widely known health benefits, too! You should know that our hibiscus is a main ingredient in many of our tisane teas, as well, if you are ever feeling adventerous and would like a new tea to try! These are all great iced, too! Happy sipping! - Kaytea :)

This tea has become my go to beverage of choice. I brew a big pot every night yo drink the next day iced. Wonderfully refreshing.

Thanks for your review. Your observations are right on, and hibiscus is so good for you. Lots of Vitamin C!
