A milder black tea from lush valleys of Kenya

Catch your breath and remind yourself of the glassy depths of the world of black teas. Start with the look of it: this brambly blend reveals its simplicity striking proposition at first glance. Cornflower is laid in all of its deep blue beauty atop the black tea that you know offers a mellow, afternoon-ready character. Clarity is key in this unassuming two-note tea, known for aiding focus and providing antioxidant support.

This hot black tea also isn't afraid to wield a sapphire-smooth kick: it's medium caffeine levels add to its rebellious naturalism. Kenya through and through – with a pointed, glassy collection of floral black notes. Named after the famed Kenyan gemstone, Blue Sapphire is as memorable as it looks. Let this exquisite black tea bring gentle flavor to your morning, afternoon, or evening.

Perfect Tea

This was my first time trying loose leaf -- it's perfect. The flavor isn't bitter or weak. I don't even have to add honey to it, which I used to always do with bagged tea. I'm looking forward to trying more varieties.

And we have over 120 varieties for you to try Stephanie!

Shipped two teas as gifts

I ordered two teas for my mother for a Christmas gift. They are her favourites - blue sapphire (a lovely estate tea with a rounded crisp sweet flavour) and Paris (a lovely flavoured blend topping out with berry and caramel in a nice black tea base). They arrived packed very nicely, and in record time! Shipping was at cost, not padded with extra fees, and got there within 3 days (from New York to Seattle)! Thanks for making my holiday shopping so much easier, with a quality product!!

Thanks for letting us know that your Mom's Christmas gift was received and she is once again pleased--as are you. We appreciate your repeat business. Happy sipping!

Everything I've Ever Wanted in an Iced Tea

I never really like iced tea. I always kind of tolerated it. My husband and I went on a vacation to Canandaigua, NY and met the wonderful Good Life Tea people and found the fruited tisane teas. Those were quite pleasant, but not just a plain tea. And then on a whim, we decided to try this tea and I LIKE ICED TEA! It's potent flavor is refreshing and a little sweetness doesn't hurt it! It's everything I've been looking for in the regular tea brands and have never been able to find! We will definitely be buying more of this!

Thanks Larissa for letting us know about your discovering Blue Sapphire. As a Kenyan tea, it's quite unique and the cornflower petals in it make it as pretty a tea as it is refreshing.

Honey, Citrus, and Woodsy Floral Notes

Good Life Tea included a sample of Blue Sapphire with my order. (A generous gesture that was much appreciated.) I am glad they did because I probably wouldn't have chosen it. I tend to like either straight, unflavored black teas or I want all the flavor in the world (e.g. their Heaven Scent Chai). This Kenyan based tea with pretty blue cornflower petals didn't strike me as MY cup of tea until I brewed it. It has a lovely dark honey hue, a mild floral scent, and tastes very balanced with gentle notes of honey, citrus, and a pleasant woodsy and floral flavor that is hard to describe. I enjoyed this tea very much with just a touch of rock sugar added.

So happy you tried the Blue Sapphire black tea. It's one of our quietly most popular Estate blacks.
