  • Steeping Instructions

1 teaspoon per 8 oz of water. Fluffy leaves like some Oolongs, use 2 teaspoons. For stronger tea use more tea.   There is no hard and fast rules on steeping except over steeping may make tea bitter.   If you are unsure, try cooler water and shorter steeping times. Below are general steeping instructions.  For best results, follow the steeping instructions that came with your tea.
To estimate water temperature use a thermometer or wait a 2-3 minutes after the water stops boiling. Then the water temperature should be about 165- 185 F. You can gauge water temperature by looking at the bubbles forming at the bottom of the tea kettle.  When pin size bubbles form, the water temperature is about 185F. To take the guess work out of water temperatures, try our electric tea kettle.

Tea Type Steeping Temperature Steeping Time

Bright Orange - Fruit flavored loose leaf tea

Quenches like nice else. Grab some today.

What a welcome surprise every time an herbal tea has all of the flavor and potency of an old fashioned cuppa. Not to mention a little something extra. The secret to this tea – often cited as a tea-lover's favorite? Does what it says on the tin. Labeled Bright Orange; this is a spirited tea with an unquenchable (but not overpowering) basin of citric orange flavor.

This unique blood-orange tisanal can be enjoyed in the afternoon along with a few minute's quiet break or added to one's normal daily tea time. Sweet but tangy enough to be a more “serious” fruit tea; Bright Orange is deceptively delicious.

Fruit tea calls to mind specific times and locations. It's the sort of aromatic experience that locks itself in memory and insists on only returning at the nostalgic whiff of the particular tea present at the time of the memory. For this reason; along with the delicate but persistent sweetness of papaya and rosehip mixed in with blood orange; Bright Orange is a wonderful gift tea.

Citrus and vitamin C are the body's natural immune system boosters. Improve your natural defenses against infection and even the common cold by adding Bright Orange to your roster of teas. Full bodied with a manageable flavor, this tangily sweet fruit tea is sure to be a favorite!

Base leaf: Fruit and herbs no tea leaves.

Health properties: Super Vitamin C.

Flavor strength: Medium, fruity, playful. Primary flavor collection is citric simple.

Very good Tea

As far as orange herbal teas go, this is pretty good. I will definitiely be ordering some other flavors from Good Life Tea.

Bright Orange was very popular this summer as an iced tea. We're expecting it to continue to be popular hot as the weather turns cold. So glad you liked it.
Love Bright Orange

I made this as an iced tea in my cold brew pitcher. This is a very refreshing fruit "tea." I love the flavor. I also tried mixing it with the Spice Tea for my own Constent Comment. It was very good, also. I recommend this to anyone who likes tisanes and orange.

You've found a favorite, Cherie! Bright Orange is also delicious hot and would be great hot as your own 'Constant Comment'.
Bright Orange

I tried the Bright Orange yesterday as both a hot tea and an iced tea. Enjoyed it most as an iced tea. It had a traditional tea taste but with just enough additional flavoring.

Bright Orange is actually primarily comprised of blood orange pulp, that is a sweet orange grown in the Mediterranean region. So glad you like it!
