Good morning, tea bunnies! We hope that you all had a wonderful weekend and that you are having a stupendous start to the week! I'm sure you guessed this but we have a hopping announcement for you! This blog post will be dedicated to featuring our Easter/Spring Collections! As you can see, even our friend Buddy the Elf is excited.
We'd like to start with our "Spring Colors" set. We imagined you all out enjoying the new and exploding spring colors that are bursting up around us. It's one of the most wonderful visual experiences of the year and is a beautiful representation of the new life that the Easter season brings. We wanted this set to embody this so we chose to go with 4 of our more "colorful" teas. This set has an ounce of each of the following: Chamomile, Caramel Rooibos, Bingo Blueberry, and Moroccan Mint. Our Chamomile is a beautiful gold in color and inspires the calm, relaxation, serenity, and peace that is similar to that of the celebration of Easter. Our Caramel Rooibos, when brewed, is a beautiful, almost, carrot like color. Don't worry though, we know you're not actually rabbits and carrots aren't what you came to us for. The taste is sweet and full, just like the candies left in your Easter basket, but without the calories! With Bingo Blueberry, you guessed it, you are about to have a cup of radiant blue, purple, and burgundy tones. The tea is composed of dried elderberries, raisins, apple, cornflower petals, hibiscus and all natural blueberry flavoring. The last tea in this set, our Moroccan Mint, is of course a green in coloring as it is a green tea. Both the color and the flavor profile of mint model the invigorating nature of both spring and Easter. In each sip, you will be greeted with thoughts of refreshment and new beginnings.
What do we attribute a lot of these new colors to; the spring flowers that are blooming, of course! This is the reasoning behind our next Spring/Easter Set; the
"Easter Blooms!". This set is composed of one of each of our decadent, hand-tied, blooming teas. If you are not familiar, blooming teas, are small tea balls that quite literally, "bloom" in your cup. I will include a picture below for reference. We have three varieties of these blooming teas here. We have our
Delirium, our
Three Flower Bursts, and our
Jasmine Spring Blooms.
Delirium encompasses primarily green tea and vegetal notes. It is absolutely mind blowing to watch them open and grow while they steep in your cup. It is very representative of the definition of "delirium" as
a state of violent excitement or emotion. Our
Three Floral Bursts have more of a floral profile to them. In your cup you will see full blooms and reminisce on the blooms that you see in your garden. Lastly, our
Jasmine Spring Blooms incorporate the flavors of the jasmine flower. You will see a full jasmine flower in your glass when steeped and you will be enveloped by the lovely and energizing tones. As promised, here is a short preview of what to expect with these amazing blooms.
**Because these hand-tied balls can be quite potent, we recommend steeping them in a teapot or tea cup of 20 ounces or more. It is also just easier to enjoy the magic of watching them grow and allows for the water to interact with them fully!**
In our last Spring/Easter Set, we intended to incorporate many of the feelings that are associated with Spring and Easter, such as softness, kindness, nurturance, and compassion. Fittingly, these same associations are made with the color pink, and thus, we named this last set,
"Think Pink!". In this set, you will receive a total of 6 ounces of two of our most popular teas, complete with the tins to store them in. We started with 3 ounces of our
Angel Falls Mist.
Angel Falls Mist is a tisane tea, which means that it is composed of dried fruits and herbs primarily. In this tisane you will find citrus and strawberry that will undoubtedly remind you of the refreshing mist that comes off of the waterfall that inspired this tea; Angel Falls in Venezuela. Along with the
Angel Falls Mist, we have included 3 ounces of our
Amethyst Berry tisane tea. In
Amethyst Berry you will find a blend of
butterfly pea flower, hibiscus, apple pieces, rose hips, orange, papaya flavor, blueberries, strawberries, and natural blackberry flavors. It develops into a beautifully bright magenta/purple color that is a pleasure to both the eyes and the palette! What makes this tea even more interesting is that the longer you leave it out, the more you will see the color change! Both teas are caffeine free so they are ready to be steeped and enjoyed all day!
We are so excited to be sharing these with you all again and can't wait to see how fast you hop our way! Keep these in mind when you are thinking about how you are going to spoil the bunnies in your life for Easter! Tea is such a wonderful gift as it continues to give even after the holiday has passed and can remind the recipient of you with each sip. We hope you love these sets just as much as we love you!
