reports that drinking tea over a 12 week period has lowered blood pressure on a randomized test group over the 12 week test period. This small, but significant drop in blood pressure may " reduce stroke risk by 8%, coronary artery disease mortality by 5% and all-cause mortality by 4% at a population level,”
The conclusion is that drinking tea is good for you. It lowers your blood pressure which helps your heart and therefore you live longer.
